SCOTTISH GIRLS' CHAMPIONSHIP - Hannah Ounap leads qualifiers at Pollok

Hannah Ounap (Loudoun) was top qualifier for the matchplay stages of the Scottish Girls' Championship, being played at Pollok GC this week, when the two rounds of strokeplay qualifying were completed on Friday the 17th of July.

Two rounds of 67 for a 12 under par total 134 saw Hannah four shots clear of her nearest rival after the 36 holes strokeplay qualifying.

With the championship qualifying score falling at 154, Hannah was the only Ayrshire qualifier in the sixteen players who progressed to the championship matchplay stages.

163 (+17) - Sandi Rogerson (Kilmarnock Barassie) - 83/80 - Equal 25th position.

173 (+27) - Alyssa Gillies (Ballochmyle) - 94/79 - 33rd position. 

176 (+30) - Sophie Jordan (Kilmarnock Barassie) - 86/90 - 35th position.

179 (+33) - Stefi Rogerson (Kilmarnock Barassie) - 86/93 - 37th position.

In the first round of the matchplay on Saturday morning Hannah Ounap plays Freya Dolan (Carnoustie), teeing off at 0904, for a place in the quarter finals on saturday afternoon, with the semi finals and final due to take place on Sunday the 19th of July.

Sandi Rogerson lines up against Summer Xie (Swanston)  at 0808 on Saturday morning, with Orla Moran playing Rebecca Whiteford (Lundin) at 0824, and Stefi Rogerson up against Verity Swift (St Regulus Ladies) at 0838.
