With Drongan leading Ayr Belleisle 6-0 and Ayr Seafield leading Caprington 4-2 after theoir home legs of their quarter finals, the other two quarter final first leg ties also resulted in home wins, with Ardeer beating Tam O Shanter 4-2 and Alton beating Beith 3.5-2.5
The second legs of the quarter-final ties are due to be completed by Sunday the 2nd of August.
