AYRSHIRE JUNIOR ORDER OF MERIT - Harris Vennard takes over at top of table

Harris Vennard (Ayr Belleisle) has moved to the top of the Ayrshire Junior Order of Merit table after the first eight of the twenty seven counting events were completed recently.

A first place at the Troon Welbeck Junior Open followed by his last sixteen showing in the Scpottish Boys' Championship moved Harris just ahead of Mason Chisholm (Irvine) and Finlay Watt (West Kilbride, with just fifteen points separating the leading three.

Hannah Ounap (Loudoun) moved into fourth place after reaching the semi finals of the Scottish Girls' Championship.
