Prestwick St Cuthbert GC are the 2026 Ayrshire Club Champions when they posted the best team total of the 17 clubs who took part in the championship at Rowallan Castle Golf Club on Sunday the 5th of July.

The team of Scott Brown, Graeme Gimson, and Adam Sweeney combined to post a team total of 145 to win the title from West Kilbride by a single shot, with Scott brown also posting the best individual scratch score of the day with a one under par score of 71.
Loudoun finished in third place, a further shot behind West Kilbride, on 147.
At the conclusion of the competition Ayrshire Golf Association Vice President William Fleming (Ballochmyle) presented vouchers to the winning team and handed over the R.L. Crawford Trophy to the 2026 champions Prestwick St Cuthbert GC.
The 2026 success is the third occasion that Prestwick St Cuthbert have won the trophy in the 26 year history of the competition, following their previous wins in 2016 and 2021.
The Association would like to extend sincere thans to Rowallan Castle Golf Club for hosting the event, and the staff of The Glasshouse Restaurant for looking after the competitors and officials throught the competition
