SCOTTISH GIRLS' CHAMPIONSHIP - Ayrshire hopes end in semi finals

Ayrshire’s hopes were dashed in the two matchplay competition semi finals in the Scottish Girls’ Championships at Pollok on the morning of Sunday the 19th of July.

In the championship semi-finals Hannah Ounap (Loudoun) lost to Carla Burns (Douglas Park) by 4&2, who herself lost out in the final to the 2026 winner Carly McDonald (St Regulus Ladies)

In the handicap knockout competition for the Ainsley Reid Salver, Stefi Rogertson (Kilmarnock Barassie) lost to Rita Murphy (Murrayfield) by 3&1, who in turn lost to Sophie Macintosh (Whitecraigs) in the final.
