The team who will bid to defend the title won by Ayrshire last year at Loudoun includes County Champion Emma Hale (Troon Ladies) and the championship runner up Lorna Ronnie (Kilmarnock Barassie), who will be representing Ayrshire in the event for the first time.
Also included in the team are Catherine Malcolm (Prestwick St Cuthbert), Debbie Watt (Belleisle Ladies), Audrey Thompson (Loudoun Gowf) and Jenny Linklater (Largs), who were all members of the winning team in 2015, with Ros Purdom (Prestwick St Nicholas) and Louise Duncan (West Kilbride) completing the 8 strong squad.
Former County Champion and Scotland Veterans Internationalist Alex Glennie (Kilmanrock Barassie) has been named as team reserve.
Over the three days of the jamboree, Ayrshire will play off against teams from Dumbarton & Argyll, Renfrewshire, Lanarkshire in a round robin format, with foursomes in the morning and singles in the afternoon each day.
