Putting Plus, the operators of the putting
green at Prestwick shore are holding a Putt 'n BBQ event on Friday 27 May,
spanning the Afternoon and Evening.
2016 marks the third season of operation
for the reopened putting facility, with around 2,500 having played since the
facility opened in August 2014.
The organisers of the event would like to
welcome funders, supporters, helpers, friends, and Putters young and old; fit
and not so fit; locals, visitors and tourists to the event.
Local Prestwick Councillor Margaret Toner will
perform the Official Opening, which will be held at 6pm.
The Putting will open at 2pm until late.
There will be Putting games for children, and the organiser John M Hunter hopes
to encourage more people to putt in the evening.

memories ... the sun slowly setting over the Firth of Clyde provides an awesome
backdrop to an enjoyable game of Putting . But there's more. The shops are full of
BBQs, bags of charcoal are for sale ... why not have rest and enjoy a BBQ at
the Parkstone, and try out the new seating in their beer garden”.
Golfers and non golfers alike are are
invited to get the holiday weekend off to a great start at the Putt 'n BBQ at
Prestwick Seafront.
