Four more clubs have booked their places in the last sixteen of the 2016 Ayrshire Fourball Championship.Gilbert & Paul Ferguson (Troon Welbeck) had a last hole win over their visitors Billy Dumigan & Ryan Watson (Stewarton) in their second round clash and will be away against either Ballochmyle or irvine in round three.
Also through are Robert McClure & Scott Brown (Kilbirnie Place) who were given a walkover in round two by their opponents D Hamilton & James Fyfe (Girvan). The Kilbirnie pair will be at home to Rowallan Castle in the last sixteen.
David Sloan & John Barr Jr. (Doon Valley) will be at home to Alexander Irvine & Mark Thompson (Annanhill) in round three. The Doon Valley pairing had a 2 hole home win over Andrew Carswell & Richard Stevenson (Ayr Dalmilling) in round two, whilst the Annanhill representatives were 4 & 3 home winners against Brian Robertson & David McNaught (Auchenharvie 88).
All the remaining second round matches are due to be completed by Sunday 29th May.
