AYRSHIRE FOURBALL CHAMPIONSHIP - Largs, Brunston Castle and Wallacetown through to round three

Three more clubs have progressed to round three of the 2016 Ayrshire Fourball Championship.

David & Iain Macdonald (Largs) were given a walkover by their opponents John Doolan & Jeff Penman (Ayr Carrick) and will be at home to either Drongan or Loudoun in the last sixteen.

Also through to the third round are Thomas Smith & Robert Thomas (Wallacetown) who had a 2 & 1 away win against William Thomson & Joseph Gillon (Tam O Shanter) to progress. The Wallacetown pair will be away to New Cumnock or Caprington in the next round.

Douglas McCormick & Jamie McCrindle (Brunston Castle) had a two hole victory over their visitors Craig Menzies & Murray Pringle (Muirkirk) to go through to the last sixteen, where they will be away to either Braehead or Skelmorlie.

The undernoted outstanding second round ties are due for completion by 29th May:-
