Mark Watt had a 4 & 3 win over John R Anderson (Skelmorlie) at home in round 2 whilst Scott McIlwraith was awarded a walkover by Alan McLean (Kilbirnie Place), which meant that the two St Cuthbert players will play off in the next round for a place in the last eight.
Also through to round 2 by virtue of walkovers are Paul Denim (Loudoun) and Andrew Carroll (Drongan), awarded by Craig Menzies (Muirkirk) and Connor Martin (Braehead) respectively.
The remaining 2nd round ties are due to be completed by the 4th of July.
