AYRSHIRE MATCHPLAY CHAMPIONSHIP - Prestwick St Cuthbert to host 2021 event

The line up for the 2021 Ayrshire Matchplay Championship, to be held at Prestwick St Cuthbert GC from the 5th to the 8th of July, has been confirmed.

The top 16 available players from the Ayrshire Srokeplay Championship will play off  for the trophy, presently held by Michel Smyth (Royal Troon), the 2019 winner.

The qualifying score for this years matchplay championship was 145, with mark watt (Prestwick St Cuthbert) just edging out Blair Morton (Royal Troon) on that total, by virtue of the better second round.
