Ayrshire golfer Hazel McGarvie (Troon ladies) is only three strokes off the lead, and lying fifth equal, with one round to go in the Scottish Under 18 Girls Open Strokeplay being played at Strathmore this week.Asecond round of 73 gave McGarvie a two round total of 144 and left her as leading Scot in the tournament after two rounds.
The championship concludes on Friday.
