In his 13 years at Loudoun Gowf Club, from 1987 to 2000, Eric became a well known, and well liked, part of the Ayrshire golfing scene, and during that period was able to enjoy seeing his son, Mark, develop his golfing skill as a junior member of the club, which ultimately saw him progress to the professional ranks.

Sincere sympathy is extended to Eric’s family and close friends at this sad time from all at The Ayrshire Golf Association, and his passing will undoubtedly be mourned by many golfing acquaintances in Ayrshire and beyond.
