Ayr Carrick and Ballochmyle are the latest two teams through to round two of the 2016 Ayrshire Fourball Championship.John Doolan & Jeff Penman (Ayr Carrick) were away in their first round match against Johnny O'Neil & Ian Harding (NB Parkstone) in the opening round but returned a 3 & 2 victory over the Troon Darley course to progress.
The Ayr Carrick duo now face a home tie against either Largs or The Chase in round two.
Jordan Lennox Mark McSeveney (Ballochmyle) received a walkover from Alan Tolmie & James Morgan (Ardeer) in rouund one and now have a home tie in round two against either Irvine or Largs Routenburn
All remaining first round ties are due for completion by 24th April.
