The Scotland Boys' team avoided the wooden spoon at the 2018 Home Internationals on Thursday 9th August, when they defeated wales by 11 - 4 in their final match.
Scotland won the morning foursomes by 4 - 1 and won six of the singles on the afternoon, halving two more and losing only two to finish above Wales in the table.
Ruben Lindsay (Ayr Belleisle) won his morning foursomes tie, partnering Andrew Thornton, by 2&1 but lost his afternoon singles by 4 & 2 whilst Jack Broun (Ayr Belleisle) sat out the morning foursomes before securing a 3&2 victory in the anchor singles tie in the afternoon.
England won the series after an 8 - 7 win over ireland on the final day.
