WEST OF SCOTLAND BOYS CHAMPIONSHIP - Third place for Murdoch at Falkirk

Luke Murdoch (Loudoun) was the best placed of the Ayrshire players in the 2015 West Of Scotland Boys Championship, played at Falkirk Golf Club on Monday 6th July.

Rounds of 75 & 76 gave Murdoch a total of 151, leaving him two shots behind the winner Ibrahim Hussain (Eastwood) and one adrift of Mitchell Ronald (East KIlbride) in second place.

Only two other Ayrshire players entered the championship, Elliot Spence (Loudoun) finishing on 159 after rounds of 82 & 77, whilst Declan Chalmers (Ballochmyle) finished on 170 after rounds of 87 & 83.

Luke Murdoch progressed to the West Of Scotland Boys Matchplay Championship, being played at Falkirk GC on Tuesday 7th and Wednesday 8th July, but lost out in the first round to Andrew Crusher (Eastwood)
