AYRSHIRE FOURBALL CHAMPIONSHIP - Brunston Castle pair remain on course for title defence

The team of brothers George and David McCulloch (Brunston Castle) remain on course to defend the Ayrshire Fourball Championship following a win in their quarter final tie this week.

The Brunston Castle duo, who also won the title in 2012, edged through a tight quarter final tie at home to Scott Bunyan & Robert Murdoch (Doon Valley) with victory at the first extra hole.

In the semi finals, the title holders face an away tie against James Anderson & Paul Church (Skelmorlie) after the North Ayrshire team had a 3 & 1 home win over Stuart & Martin Docherty (Crosshouse) in their quarter final tie this week.
