AYRSHIRE JUNIOR GOLF LEAGUE - Competitions update

There have not been many recent results reported in the Ayrshire Junior Golf League Championship, 
with last years finalists Kilmarnock (Barassie) and Ayr Belleisle both in pole positions to set up a repeat final this year.

In the JUNIOR CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS TROPHY competition, Robert Clark (Ballochmyle) is the first player through to the semi finals following a one hole win against Fraser Rigby (Kilmarnock Barassie) in their quarter final match over the Barassie links.

The remaining three semi finals are due to be completed by 3rd August.

In the UNDER 16 KNOCKOUT TROPHY competition, 2.5 – 1.5 home wins by Irvine and Ayr Belleisle, over Loudoun and Kilmarnock Barassie respectively, saw them through to the semi finals.

The semi finals of the competition, to be completed by 30th August, are :-

IRVINE Vs BALLOCHMYLE
AYR BELLEISLE Vs TROON WELBECK

In the WALLACE THORNTON TROPHY competition, Kilmarnock (Barassie) received a walkover from Irvine Ravenspark in their scheduled first round tie.

All remaining first round ties are due to be completed by 2nd August
