Sutherland Chalice Winner Euan Walker |
Euan Walker (Kilmarnock Barassie) win the prestigious 72
hole Sutherland Chalice, an SGU Order Of Merit counting event, at Dumfries
& County on Sunday 19th July with victory at the first extra
hole following a three way tie after 72 holes.
A third round 66 contributed greatly towards Walker’s three
under par total of 277, which was matched by Fraser Davren (Williamwood) and
Ryan Campbell (Falkirk) but it was the Ayrshire player and former Scotland Boys
Internationalist, Euan Walker who won with a birdie at the first extra hole of
the play off.
