Connie Jaffrey (Troon Ladies) bowed out of this years British Womans Amateur Championship at Portstewart GC on Thursday 11th June in the second round of the matchplay.In the opening round on Thursday morning, Jaffrey beat Maria Dunne from Ireland at the third extra hole to progress to round two, and become the only Scot to make the last 32 this year.
In the afternoon match however, Jaffrey was always up against it in her match with Doris Chen (USA), losing out eventually by 5 & 4.
