WEST DIVISION WOMANS INTER COUNTY MATCHES - Ayrshire open with win over Dumbarton & Argyll

Ayrshire opened their bid for the West Division Womans Inter County title, being played for at Loudoun Gowf Club this week, with a 6 1/2 - 2 1/2 win over Dumbarton & Argyll on the opening day on Monday, 15th June.

Ayrshire took the morning foursomes by 2 1/2 - 1/2 and extended their lead by winning the afternoon singles by 4 - 2.

In the other match played on Monday, Renfrewshire beat Lanarkshire 7 - 2.

On Tuesday, Ayrshire play Lanarkshire whilst Renfrewshire take on Dumbarton & Argyll.
