AYRSHIRE JUNIOR ORDER OF MERIT - Spaces still available for Junior Open at Loudoun

Places are still available for the next Ayrshire Junior Order Of Merit counting event, the Loudoun Junior Open, which takes place on Monday 17th July.

The Largs Junior Open, which was due to be played on 6th July was cancelled as only 13 entries had been received by the closing date.

The Troon Welbeck Junior Open was played on 7th July with 14 boys entered in both the under 14 and under 18 events. 

The best scratch return was recorded by Robbie Muir (Kilmarnock Barassie) with a 68 over the Troon Darley course.

The winner of the Cliff Francis Trophy, for the best nett score, was Ross McDonald (Kilmanrock Barassie) whilst the under 14 nett winner, for the Rotary Cup, was Luke Greig (Welbeck).

The returns for the Byrne Howard Trophy competition at Royal Troon on 2nd July are still awaited, whilst it has been announced the at the Tom Lehman Trophy competition at the Troon Municipa courses will take place this year on Tuesday 1st August.
