A number of matches in all the Ayrshire Junior Golf League competitions have been completed recently.In the CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS TROPHY, Ruben Lindsay (Ayr Belleisle) had a 1 hole victory at home against Robbie Muir (Kilmarnock Barassie) to progress to the semi finals.
Fraser Murray (West Kilbride) is also in the semi final draw, with the two remaining quarter final ties due to be completed by 6th August.
In the UNDER 16 KNOCKOUT competition, three of the four semi finalists are now known.
All three completed quarter finals were won by the home teams. Kilmarnock Barassie beat Turnberry 2.5 - 1.5, West Kilbride were 3 - 1 winners over Caprington whilst Prestwick St Cuthbert defeated Irvine by 3.5 - 0.5.
The remaining quarter final, between Troon Welbeck & Ardeer, is due to be played by 6th August.
In the WALLACE THORNTON TROPHY, Turnberry progressed to the semi final at the expense of Prestwick St Cuthbert. The remaining quarter final matches are due to be completed by 6th August.
In the AYRSHIRE JUNIOR GOLF LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP, Ayr Belleisle and West Kuilbride lead their respective sections at present.
