Michael Smyth (Royal Troon) is the first player through to the semi finals of the 2017 Ayrshire Champion Of Champions Trophy competition.
Smyth was at home to Scott Ireland (Prestwick St Nicholas) in the quarter final and booked his place in the last four with a 3 & 2 victory.
In the semi final, to be played over Royal Troon on Friday 4th August, Smyth will face either David Macdonald (Largs) or Robert Adams (Abbotsford)
The remaining three semi final matches are due to be completed by 23rd July.
