Connie Jaffrey (Troon Ladies) posted the joint best individual score by a Scotland team member on the opening day of the European Womans Team Championship, Tuesday 5th July, at Oddur Golf Club in Iceland.
Jaffrey's one over par 73 left her in joint sixteenth place, alongside team mate Eilidh Briggs, in the individual standings.
A number of players were unable to complete their opening rounds on day one, with Scotland likely to be in ninth place overall before round two gets under way.
