Graham & Alyson Hutton (Skelmorlie) were five up after seven holes in their tie against Lori Darroch & Jim Hood (Rowallan Castle) when their ties was conceded by their opponents.
Also through to the quarter finals are Elizabeth McConnell & Derek Macpherson (Rowallan Castle) who won a marathon home third round tie against Jamie Wilson & Mya Wilson (Troon Portland/Royal Troon) at the 22nd, the fourth extra hole.
The remaining four second round ties are due to be completed by the 5th of July.
