SCOTTISH MEN'S AREA TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP - Ayrshire host Lothians at Ballochmyle in second qualifying match

Ayrshire will host Lothians at Ballochmyle on Sunday the 7th of June in the second of three qualifying matches for the 2026 Scottish Men's Area Team Championship.

The Ayrshire team selected for the fixture includes Craig Hamilton (Ballochmyle) a multiple Club Champion at the host venue, new Ayrshire Men's Matchplay Champion Calum Nairn (Prestwick St Cuthbert), and Steven Stamper (Turnberry), along with Graeme Gimson (Prestwick St Cuthbert), the matchplay championship runner up this year.

2025 Ayrshire Men's Strokeplay Champion Harvey Broadfoot (Royal Troon) and the new Strokeplay Champion Alan McLean (Largs) completed the line up for Ayrshire.

Matches commence at 08.30 on Sunday morning with the thre foursomes ties, followed by six singles in the afternoon.
