AYRSHIRE MEN'S CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS TROPHY - Hay and Currie book places in quarter finals

Jamie Hay (Ayr Belleisle) and David Currie (Royal Troon) are the first two players to book their places in the quarter finals of the 2026 Ayrshire Men's Champion of Champions Trophy competition.

Jamie Hay had a 3&2 win in his third round tie away to Kevin Thomas (Troon St Meddans) and now faces an away tie against either Lewis Higgins (Ardeer) or iain Macfarlane (Prestwick St Nicholas) in the quarter finals.

David Currie had a 2&1 win at home over Neil Clappertton (Ballochmyle) in his third round match, and will now host either Steven Stamper (Turnberry) or Alan McLean (Largs) for a place in the semi finals.

All the remaining third round matches are due to be completed by the 28th of June.
