PRESIDENT'S PUTTER - Four of eight quarter finalists confirmed

Four of the eight quarter final places in the handicap club team knockout competition for The President's Putter have been climed after the completion of some third round ties recently.

Tam O Shanter had a 2-1 home win over Caprington and will now host either Ayr Seafield or Ayr Belleisle in the quater finals.

Prestwick St Cuthbert are also through to the last eight after a 3-0 home win over Irvine, and will host either Moorpark or Skelmorlie for a place in the semi finals.

A 2-1 home win for Troon Portland over Ardeer has set up a quarter final tie at home to either Drongan or Prestwick St Nicholas, while Troon St Meddans had a 2-1 win away to Annanhill to set up a visit to play either North Beach or Auchenharvie in the last eight.

The remaining four third round ties are due to be completed by the 28th of June.
