AYRSHIRE MEN'S CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS TROPHY - Three more players book quarter final spots

Three more players have booked their places in the quarter finals of the 2026 Ayrshire Men's Champion of Champions Trophy competition recently, with the remaining three places to be confirmed by the 28th of June.

Scott Brown (Prestwick St Cuthbert) had a 7&5 win on his visit to play Chris Hewitson (Wallacetown) in round three, and will be at home to James McIntyre (Redburn) in the quarter finals after McIntyre had a 2 hole win over Rory Achison (Routenburn) in their third round tie.

Also through to the last eight is Lewis Higgins (Ardeer) who was given a walkover by Iain MacFarlane (Prestwick St Nicholas) who was unable to play due to an injury. Higgins will be at home to Jamie Hay (Ayr Belleisle) in the quarter finals.

The three outstanding third round ties are due to be completed by Sunday the 28th of June.
