The 2019 Ayrshire Champion of Champions Trophy competition has
reached the quarter final stage, with the remaining third round matches
completed recently.
Gordon Johnston (Kilbirnie Place) will be at home to Craig
Hamilton (Ballochmyle) after he defeated his visitor Craig Menzies (Muirkirk)
by 7&6 in their third round clash.
Gordon Munro (Caprington) and Gordon Boyle (Turnberry) will
meet at Caprington after Gordon Boyle beat Andrew Lindsay (Ayr Dalmilling) over
his home course by 2&1 in round three.
In the third quarter final match Sandy Buchanan (Prestwick
St Nicholas) will play host to Nicholas Tindall (Tam O Shanter) whilst in the other
quarter final tie Robbie Muir (Kilmarnock Barassie), who defeated Derek Watt
(Drongan) by two holes in their third round clash, plays host to Adam Sweeney
(Largs Routenburn).
All quarter final ties are due to be completed by 21st
July.
