DOC THOM AYRSHIRE ORDER OF MERIT - Couse record for McInally on way to third place spot

Tommy McInally

Tommy McInally (Loudoun) broke the course record at Girvan in The Stevenson Trophy competition on 5th August, and in the process moved up into third place in the 2012 Ayrshire Order Of Merit for the Doc Thom Salver.

a scratch score of 58 gave McInally top spot in a quality field for the competition at the South Ayrshire course, with the bonus of maximum points towards the Order Of Merit.

With only three counting events, at Largs, Troon Welbeck and Prestwick St Nicholas, remaining to be played, the present positions in the chase for the Doc Thom Salver are :-
