Greg Telfer |
In the semi finals on Wednesday evening,
Greg Telfer had a close tussle with new Ayrshire Boys Champion and first seed,
Euan Walker (Kilmarnock Barassie). With the match close throughout, Walker won the sixteenth hole to square the match, but an uncharacteristic three putt from close in on the final green saw Walker let the match slip from his grasp and Telfer went through to the final with a one hole victory.

Callum Beveridge |
In the second semi final, defending champion
Callum Beveridge (Troon Welbeck) was four up after six holes against
Stuart Easton (Irvine) and although Easton reduced the deficit to three on a couple of occasions in the middle stages of the match, Beveridge closed him out with a 4 & 3 victory.
The final, on Thursday evening, is scheduled to commence at 4.30 p.m.
