Kilmarnock Barassie's Jack McDonald is one of the seeded players and leads the Ayrshire challenge which also includes former Scottish Boys Champion David Wilson, who is aiming to emulate clubmate Michael Stewart and complete the 'Scottish' double at both junior and senior levels.
There are two all Ayrshire first round ties, involving Steven Stamper (Turnberry) against Louis Murray (Troon Welbeck) and Colin Haddow (Western Gailes) against david Strachan (Turnberry).
