Two of the four semi finalists in the 2012 Ayrshire Junior Golf League Championship are now known, with one further place depending on the final result in the section and the fourth spot to be decided by a play off after a dead heat in the qualifying section.
In Section A, Prestwick St Cuthbert beat Ballochmyle 5 - 1 in their recent home match to maintain their 100% record and go through to the semi finals with one match, against Irvine Ravenspark, still to be completed.

In Section C, the result between Irvine and Troon St Meddans at Troon will decide if it is Irvine or Troon Welbeck who progress to the last four. Present positions are :-

Section D was concluded recently with West Kilbride beating Kilmarnock Barassie by 3.5 - 2.5 at Barassie to leave Ayr belleisle and Kilmarnock Barassie deadlocked at the top of the table with the same points and tie difference, with West Kilbride just missing out on tie difference. Consequently Kilmarnock Barassie and Ayr Belleisle will play off for the remaining semi final spot.

The semin final draw will be made in early August with the finals scheduled to take place at Prestwick St Cuthbert in September.
In the UNDER 16 KNOCKOUT competition, West Kilbride join Ayr Belleisle in the semi finals after a 4 - 0 home win over near neighbours Largs.
In the CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS TROPHY competition, Sandy Walker (Ardeer) is the first player into the semi finals after a one hole win at home to Christopher Murray (West Kilbride) in their quarter final tie.
