A 2 - 1 away win at Caprington saw Ballochmyle through to the last sixteen where they face a trip to Skelmorlie in their bid for a quarter final spot.
Irvine had a 3 - 0 home win over Redburn in their first round tie and will now travel to either Troon St Meddans or Ayr Belleisle in round 2.
