A 4 & 3 home win over Steven Brown & Colin Whiteside (Caprington) in round two set up an away tie against the representatives of Ayr Carrick or Girvan in the last sixteen.
One of the two outstanding first round matches was won by Wullie and Billy Smith (Stewarton) how had a single hole away victory against Mark Ogilvie and Billy Skehill (Glacier) to set up a second round tie away to John Simpson & Stan Smith (The Chase).
Thirteen second round ties are still due to be completed by the 15th of May.
