leaders Irvine in their recent encounter, to move joint top of the table with a
game in hand.

In the JUNIOR CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS TROPHY competition the one
outstanding first round tie saw Ross McDonald (Kilmarnock Barassie) beat
Patrick Smillie (Prestwick St Nicholas) by 3 & 2 over the Barassie links,
to go through the quarter finals where he will be at home to Rob Yorston
(Loudoun)
Jordan Orr (Ballochmyle) has been withdrawn from the
competition, which results in Ruben Lindsay (Ayr Belleisle) receiving a bye
into the semi finals.
