SCOTTISH AREA TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP - Stuart Robin replaced by Malcolm Pennycott in Ayrshire team

Due to work commitments, Stuart Robin (Prestwick St Cuthbert) has withdrawn from the Ayrshire team who will defend the Scottish Area Team Championship title at dalmahoy from 2nd to 4th September.

Robin's place will be taken by Malcolm Pennycott (Whiting Bay), who is also a member of the Royal Burgess club in Edinburgh and who had a fine run to the quarter finals of the Scottish Amateur Championship at Royal Aberdeen a few weeks ago.

Pennycott last represented Ayrshire in the competition in 2014 when the team lost out in the last eight to Perth & Kinross
