The final of the 2016 Ayrshire Fourball Championship will be between Largs and Doon Valley after the two semi finals were completed recently.In the first semi final David & Iain Macdonald (Largs) were at home to Greg Jarvie & David Parker (Crosshouse), and booked their place in the final with a 4 & 2 win.
The second semi final saw David Sloan & John Barr Jr (Doon Valley) at home to David Bain & Billy Scott (New Cumnock) and it was the home side who edged into the final with a single hole victory.
The arrangements for the final have still to be confirmed, pending the finalists identifying a mutually agreeable date.
