There will be a winner take all decider
between Scotland and England in the Boy’s Home Internationals at Ballyliffen, Ireland,
on Thursday 4th August.
On the second day of the competition, on
Thursday 3 August, Scotland beat Ireland by 9 – 6 whilst England beat Wales 10 -
5 to maintain their respective 100 % records in the championship.
Scotland won the morning foursomes by 3 – 2
and edged the afternoon singles 6 - 4 in a hard fought encounter.

Ayrshire interest Ben Ferguson (The Vines /
Turnberry) teamed up with Rory Franssen to gain a one hole win in the morning
foursomes and followed up with an afternoon singles win by 3 & 2.
Graeme Greer (Carluke / Prestwick St
Nicholas) sat out the morning foursomes and secured a half match in the
afternoon singles.
