Jack McDonald (Kilmarnock Barassie) remains the best Scot, alongside Bradley Neil (Blairgowrie) after the 36 hole cut at the Lytham Trophy at Royal Lytham & St Annes this weekend.
McDonald had a second round 77 for a 36 hole total of 147, which leaved him trailing the leader Marcus Kinhult (Sweden) by 10 shots.
Ayrshire's other representative in the field, Michael Smyth (Royal Troon), had a 78 in the second round for a 153 total, which saw him miss the halfway cut by 2 shots.
