LADIES GOLF - Ayrshire players shine in West Veterans champoinship at Largs

A number of Ayrshire ladies shone in difficult conditions at the West Of Scotland Veteran Ladies Championship played at Largs GC on Thursday 14th May, led by Liz keohone (Loudoun) who was just pipped by virtue of the better inward half for the scratch prize but won the silver handicap section.

Strong winds made scoring very difficult and contributed to the CSS rising to 76, reduction only.

Following on from the strokeplay at Largs, the West Vets Championship matchplay rounds will take place at Renfrew GC on 28th and 29th May, whilst the handicap matchplay for the Stewart Trophy will take place at largs, also on 28th and 29th May.
