BRITISH GIRLS CHAMPIONSHIP - Connie Jaffrey in round 1 loss
Ayrshire's only qualifier for the matchplay stages of the British Girls Championship, being played at at Fairhaven this week, lost out in the first round of the matplay on Wednesday 14 August.
Connie Jaffrey (Troon ladies) qualified in 57th place and faced the eighth seed, Clara Aveling (Belgium) in the first round, where she was beaten by 3 & 1.
