Marc Smith & Craig Boyle (Caprington) are the first pair through to the last 16 of the 2013 Ayrshire Fourball Championship after they won their second round match on Sunday 21st April.
The Caprington duo defeated their hosts, Colin Pettigtrew & Drew McCutcheon (Drongan) by 2 & 1 to go through, where they now face an away tie against either Ayr Belleisle or Doon Valley for a place in the quarter finals.
The outstanding result in round one saw Robert McMaster & Graham Andrew (Girvan) defeating their visitors Jamie Harper & Neil Sands (Annanhill) by 3 & 2, to secure a second round Martin Brown & Gary Harris (Mallesheugh)
