SCOTTISH BOYS CHAMPIONSHIP - Seven Ayrshire players through to round 3

Seven Ayrshire players are in third round action on Wednesday afternoon in the 2013 Scottish Boys Championship, being played at Monifieth this week.

In the remaining second round ties on Wednesday morning, three of the four Ayrshire players won through to the third round.

Blair Gavin (Kilmarnock Barassie) had a 2 hole win over Calum Wilson (Kilspindie) and now playes Stephen Roger (Cruden Bay) in round 3.

Euan Walker (Kilmanrock Barassie) also progressed, courtesy of a 4 & 3 victory against Brandon Burgess (Dumfries & County). Walker now plays Jake Scott (Duff House Royal) on Wednesday afternoon.

Darryl Lynch (Ayr Belleisle) had a 3 & 1 win over Patrick McKenna (Royal Aberdeen) to secure a third round meeting with Willem Kerr (Craigielaw), whilst the only casualty of the Wednesday morning second round matches was Adam Wilson (Ayr Belleisle) who l;ost out by 4 & 3 to Duncan Samson (Lochmaben)

All the third round matches are scheduled to be completed on Wednesday afternoon.
