All but one of the first round results in the 2013 Ayrshire Fourball Championship have now been posted.William Fleming & David Muir (Ballochmyle) had a marathon first round match against George Chrichton & Grant Fraser (Ayr Dalmilling) before winning through a the 21st, and now have a home match against Fraser Williamson & Alan Lochrie (Kilmarnock Barassie) who beat their visitors Colin & Ronnie Davidson (Abbotsford) by 8 & 7 in round 1.
Andy Turnbull & David Cook (Fenwick) were 2 & 1 winners in their visit to David & Iain McDonald (Largs) and now face an away match against John McDonald & Steven Wilson (Wallacetown) in round 2.
Ross & Craig Anderson (Kilbirnie Place) had a 4 & 3 away win against Francis Donaghy & Lee Walker (Braehead) in the first round to set up a home tie against Darren Mallinson & William Howat (Irvine Ravenspark) in round 2, after the Irvine duo beat their hosts Euan Grant & Martin Lothian (Turnberry Staff) by 3 & 2 in the opening round.
The only first round result awaited is the tie between Robert McMaster & Graham Andrew (Girvan) and Jamie Harper & Neil Sands (Annanhill). The winner will face an away tie against Martin Brown & Gary Harris (Malletsheugh)
All second round ties must be completed by Sunday 19th May.
