The Ayrshire team who will defend the Scottish Boys' Area Team Championship title in 2022 has been announced.
Ayrshire Boys Champion Harvey Broadfoot (Royal Troon) and Connor Wills (Royal Troon), who formed half of the successful Ayrshire team who won the title in 2021 at Dullatur, return this year to defend the title and are joined in the team this year by Ayrshire Boys Matchplay finalist Jack Broadfoot (Troon Welbeck) and established county team member Ryan Kennedy (Irvine), who presently occupy first and second places respectively in the Ayrshire Junior Order of Merit table.
The selected team is a strong and experienced side with the selection being just reward for the four team members performances both locally and further afield during the current season.
The 2022 championship takes place at Gleddoch golf course in Renfrewshire on Sunday the 12th of September, with a practice round scheduled on the course the day before, on Saturday the 10th.
