After the latest two events, Steven Stamper (Turnberry) moved up into second place, courtesy of a first place finish in the Stevenson Trophy at Girvan, ahead of Craig telfer (Turnberry) and Stuart White (Girvan), whilst Steven McEwan (Caprington) moved up to seventh place following victory in the 36 hole Viking Krus competiton at Largs, where his total of 141 gave him victory by four shots over Alan McLean (Largs).
With only the Troon St Meddans Open, The Mainholm Cup at Ayr Dalmilling, the Ballochmyle Rosebowl and the Arrol Cup at Prestwick St Nicholas still to be completed this season, there are several players who can still secure the title or one of the three prize winning places.
