BOYS HOME INTERNATIONALS - Easton helps Scots to win over title holders Ireland

Scotland beat defending champions Ireland 8-7 on Day 2 of the boys' home golf internationals at Western Gailes Golf Club, Ayrshire today, Wednesday 6th August 2014, with Ayrshire's Stuart Easton contributing two points to the Scots cause.

The Scotland win means England, who thrashed Wales 10 1/2-4 1/2 are the only team with a
100 per cent record going into the final day and a title victory looks on the cards.
The Scots, who had lost to England on the first day, took the foursomes 3-1 from Ireland and then shared the singles 5-5.
Stuart Easton and Adam Fisher teamed up to win their morning foursome and they both won their singles.
Debutant Fisher, from Newmachar, has won four out of four so far.
Scotland's other singles winners were Robert MacIntyre and Murray Naysmith.
Ryan Lumsden and George Burns halved their ties.
